What is the course about?

Why should I choose the course?

This course is ideal if you want to build your confidence in English. You will learn in a friendly and relaxed ESOL class, where you can take your time and practice your English.

By the end of the course, you will feel more confident using English and be ready to move on to other ESOL courses.

What will I learn?

During this ESOL course, you will improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and build your confidence to use English in everyday life.

This course will help you to speak more clearly in short conversations, share simple ideas, and give basic reasons. You will start to use different tenses (past, present, and future) in a simple way.

You will also practice real-life situations, such as going shopping, making appointments, and filling in forms.

What will the course lead on to?

After completing this ESOL course, you may want to progress to accredited ESOL Entry Level qualifications at the college.

You’ll also have improved confidence to use English independently in daily life and work, and better opportunities in employment and further education.
