The newly launched prospectus is a one-stop destination for everything future students need to know about studying higher-level courses at the college. As well as outlining a variety of full and part-time study options, the guide also offers valuable information on course fees, flexible payment plans, and accessible loan options to help students invest in their future without financial stress.

Reasons to study with Warrington & Vale Royal College

Warrington & Vale Royal College is committed to offering high-quality, accessible higher education that provides excellent value for money. With full-time course fees starting at just £6,185* per year and part-time courses at £3,092* per year, students can save thousands compared to traditional university tuition fees - without compromising on the quality of their education.

Students also benefit from a “study local” approach. With campuses located in Warrington and Winsford, students can avoid long commutes, or the costs associated with relocating, while still accessing university-level teaching close to home. Both campuses are well connected by public transport and offer free parking for added convenience.

The college offers flexible study options to suit adult students with busy lifestyles. With classes available during the day and evening, students can fit their education around work and family commitments. Courses are delivered by experienced tutors who are specialists in their fields, many of whom bring real-world industry expertise into the classroom. Strong links with local employers further enrich the learning experience through guest lectures, live briefs, and workshops.

Outstanding support for adult students

Warrington & Vale Royal College prides itself on the outstanding support it offers adult students from the moment they apply. Those with additional learning needs are invited to disclose them early in the process so that the Learning Support Team can provide tailored assistance.

A range of academic support is available, including specialist software and tools to support literacy and reading. Workshops and online resources - such as the AMPLIFY tutorial programme - provide support on essential topics like academic writing, study skills, time management, and wellbeing.

The college's award-winning Careers Team is also on hand to support students with every aspect of their progression, from career planning and CV writing to job and university interview preparation. Students can book an appointment by emailing careers@wvr.ac.uk or calling 01925 494 660.

The Higher Technical & Professional Prospectus is now available to view online at wvr.ac.uk/prospectus, and is packed with information about the exciting opportunities available to help students upskill, retrain, or pursue a new career path.
