These events provide an excellent opportunity for school leavers to experience the college’s vibrant and inclusive community. Visitors will be able to tour state-of-the-art facilities, meet expert tutors with real industry experience, and discover the wide range of specialist training academies across the college’s two campuses.
Following over £13 million in recent investment, these academies provide young people with the essential skills required for careers the most in-demand employment sectors. These innovative academies include the Advanced Creative & Digital Skills Academy, the Construction & Civil Engineering Academy, two Health & Social Care Academies and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Academies at both Warrington & Winsford campuses, and a Life Sciences Academy at Winsford campus’ new Institute of Technology.
The college prides itself on being inclusive and accessible, with courses available from entry level through to Level 3 and T Level qualifications, which are equivalent to three A Levels. Every course is designed with industry input, ensuring students develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to succeed in their chosen career. With strong partnerships across hundreds of employers, the college also provides opportunities for students to take part in live projects, industry placements, and valuable hands-on experience to prepare them for employment or higher education.
In addition to its full-time courses for school leavers, the college delivers a wide variety of apprenticeships in areas such as accountancy, construction, hairdressing, human resources, and many more. Its dedicated Apprenticeship Team will be available at each event to answer questions and offer expert guidance.
Don’t miss the opportunity to explore Warrington & Vale Royal College! The first chance to visit the college’s Warrington campus is on Wednesday 8th October from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, followed by additional Open Evenings on Wednesday 5th November and Monday 17th November.
There will also be an Open Evening at Winsford campus on Tuesday 25th November.
