Andy Phillips-Baynes, co-founder of Sixty High Street, a new menswear boutique opening soon in Newton-le-Willows, challenged students to develop a creative content plan to support the store’s launch. Over just two weeks, students stepped into professional roles as market researchers, photographers, model scouts, and content creators to respond to the brief.
The project required them to conduct in-depth market research, analyse competitors and pricing strategies, and develop eye-catching digital and print content. Their final presentation included social media assets, campaign ideas and launch materials tailored to the Sixty High Street brand.
Andy, who will feature the students’ work in his brand's launch campaign, praised the quality of the submissions: “The outcome of this brief has completely surpassed my expectations. The students at Warrington & Vale Royal College have blown me away with their creative vision and the quality of the assets they’ve made. Look out for their campaign assets on socials in the coming months!”
This collaboration is just one example of how the college connects students with real-world opportunities. With links to over 500 employers, including industry professionals, brands, and agencies, Warrington & Vale Royal College ensures students are equipped with the skills, behaviours and experience they need to succeed in industry.
