Culinary Skills student secures job at Walton's Heritage Cafe following work placement

Congratulations to Level 2 Culinary Skills student Corrina Taylor who has secured a part-time position at Walton Hall and Garden‚ Heritage Caf√©, following her work placement. The previous Cardinal Newman Catholic High School student worked one day per week for five weeks at the caf√© as part of her placement. Corrina said: I was offered the job before the end of my placement. I couldn‚Äôt believe it, I was so happy! I‚Äôve wanted to be a chef since I was four years old. The hospitality and catering department at college is fantastic and really helped to prepare me for my work placement. Upon finishing college, Corrina hopes to work full-time at the Heritage Caf√© and one day open a restaurant with her friends. Warrington & Vale Royal College‚ Work Placement Co-ordinator Dominica Randolfi said: The Heritage Caf√© is a brand new employer for the college so to hear how Corrina impressed them is fantastic! We‚Äôre very grateful for their support and extremely proud of what Corrina has achieved.
