Affordable fees

First off, let’s talk money. You'll be able to save money on accommodation and travel expenses while studying closer to home. Plus, we offer affordable tuition fees and various funding options, such as student loans, grants and bursaries. Studying with us is much cheaper than typical university fees, with our full-time courses costing £5,995 per year and part-time fees are just £2,997 per year! In comparison, full-time university fees are typically £9,250 per year and part-time fees are up to £6,750 per year.

Gain experience and boost your career prospects

You'll also have access to some great work-based learning opportunities. The college has strong connections with local businesses and organisations, which can help you to secure work placements and internships, giving you valuable experience to put on your CV and boosting your career prospects after graduation.

Industry expertise

You'll be taught by a team of experienced and knowledgeable tutors who are committed to supporting your learning and development. The courses are also designed to meet industry standards and provide you with the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in your chosen career.

Flexible study options

Choose from our fantastic range of higher education courses. Our Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC) and Level 5 Higher National Diploma (HND) courses are equivalent to the first and second year of a degree, respectively. Both courses can be completed in one year full-time, or over two years part-time. Upon completion of your HND course, you can then go on to university for one year to complete your degree. Additionally, we offer Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQ), which are new for 2023 and sit between level 4 and level 5 courses.

If you need more flexibility in your learning, we’ve got your back! You can choose from a range of flexible study options, including full-time or part-time courses. Plus, you can access online learning resources and support, making it easier to manage your studies around other commitments.

Familiar surroundings

Change isn’t for everyone. Staying local while completing your higher education course can have many benefits such as familiarity with your surroundings and a support network of friends and family on your doorstep. This is especially beneficial for adult students looking to return to education, who will be studying alongside existing family and life commitments.
