Our friendly and knowledgeable Careers Team are here to help you with your future plans.

All students at Warrington & Vale Royal College have access to high quality and impartial Careers Advice. Students can use the service both during the application process and during their time studying with us.

The Careers Team can help you with:

College employability strategy

Our college employability strategy outlines our commitment to ensuring that you have the opportunity to develop your employability skills so you can get a job and be successful in your chosen career. The college approach to careers guidance, employability and enterprise is broadly mapped to the Career Development Institute (CDI) framework and the Gatsby benchmarks, which ensures that labour market information (LMI) is used wherever possible to inform curriculum planning, ensuring that our provision meets the needs of the local community.

Careers vision statement

We are committed to providing high quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) for all of our students, supporting the development of knowledge, skills, behaviours that facilitates learners to achieve their next steps and progress to positive destinations.  Through the Careers Programme, learners will be supported to acquire career development skills to prepare them for future life and work. Students will also be offered a ‘career led’ curriculum which responds to local economic and labour market intelligence and community needs.
