Lecturer in Foundation Learning - Construction Skills
Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to recruit a 0.5 FTE Lecturer in Foundation Learning to deliver Construction Skills across a range of subject areas such as Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing and Brickwork. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge to complete tasks in each subject area. You will be working with the same classes across all disciplines. It would be desirable that you have experience working with learners with a range of mild learning needs aged 14-18 and can demonstrate an understanding and supportive ethos. This post is fixed term until July 2023.
The Construction Skills Lecturer will be responsible for:
- Liaising with the other members of the department and Curriculum Manager to facilitate efficient delivery of the curriculum.
- Planning, designing, delivering and facilitating learning in line with course aims, objectives, mode of assessment and awarding body guidelines.
- Monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality and effectiveness of learning and assessment.
