What is the course about?
This course is designed to develop your knowledge and awareness of autism. Autism is a spectrum condition that affects how a person communicates with others and how they interpret the world around them. Having a clear understanding of the misconceptions, diagnoses, and support surrounding autism is essential when working in mental health. This valuable knowledge will be developed throughout the qualification.

What are the entry requirements?
You should have access and be able to use online learning platforms and be able to cope with level 2 literacy.
If you are aged 19-23 you must hold a full level 2 qualification.
If you are currently undertaking an apprenticeship programme you will be exempt from enrolling on this course.
