What is the course about?
This exciting T Level Onsite Construction is equivalent to 3 A Levels and suitable for anyone wanting a career in construction, specifically in the brickwork trade.
Learning in both industriy-standard workshops and during a 45-day industry placement with an employer, you will work on carefully created projects that develop a broad range of skills and knowledge in brickwork.
In blended-learning classroom sessions, you explore manufacturing, health and safety, fitting, hand skills, and principles of building, so you are completely ready for work on a construction site.

What will the course lead on to?
This course will fully equip you to progress either directly into highly skilled employment, onto higher education study, or an apprenticeship. Examples of the careers this could lead onto include:
- Bricklayer
- Higher level apprenticeship;
- University.
Students can also use this T Level to progress to a related higher-level apprenticeship or course of study at a higher level
Are there any links with industry and university?
You will complete an extended industry placement across construction, equivalent to 315 hours over two years.
Whilst we recommended you to self-source your own industry placement, you will have the support of an industry placement officer to provide the extra help in finding relevant industry placements as required. Within the placement you will apply your classroom-based skills and knowledge within an industry environment, giving you the experience to better preparing you for future employment.

What are the entry requirements?
You will need a minimum of five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and maths, or you will have needed to have successfully completed a Level 2 course and have GCSE English and maths at grade 4 or above.
