What is the course about?

This course is designed to continue and help on various strategies to develop you gain more personal confidence to help you with any anxieties you may have with regards to being in a work environment.

Why should I choose the course?

Continuing and building on the strategies you have learnt from the Introduction course; the next steps are to increase your personal confidence which may be making you feel stressed and your anxiety levels are becoming too high. With further mindful techniques and role play with fellow learners to help you overcome difficult work environment situations.

The course is suitable for adults aged 19.

What will I learn?

With the course you will learn:

  • How to manage stress and anxiety with coping strategies
  • Breathing exercises to help you lower your levels
  • Use various mindfulness techniques and learn how to bring them into preparing and attending interviews and being in the workplace which includes role play with other learners on the course.
  • Discuss and talk through situations and how best to cope and bring down your anxiety.

What support is available?

We have a team of staff dedicated to providing learning support if required, as well as a Welfare Team that is on hand to offer guidance, support and help when needed. Additionally, eligible students can access a wide range of finance and funding support to help them during their time at college.
