What is the course about?
This qualification is designed to increase your awareness and understanding of mental health in children and young people and introduce you to the factors that affect mental health at different stages of development. You will learn about the behaviours that may indicate concerns or conditions and explore the support that is available to children and young people, including services and treatments

You will learn about the issues faced by children and young people, including depression, anxiety, and conduct disorder. The course will also cover factors that affect their mental health, and the impact mental health problems can have on them and their lives.

What are the entry requirements?
You should have access and be able to use online learning platforms and be able to cope with level 2 literacy.
If you are aged 19-23 you must hold a full level 2 qualification.
If you are currently undertaking an apprenticeship programme you will be exempt from enrolling on this course.
