What is the course about?
If you have a passion for cooking and are eager to explore exciting new cuisines, this course is the perfect choice. Through hands-on, practical sessions, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge needed to prepare, cook, and serve a variety of Asian dishes with confidence.

Why should I choose the course?
You’ll gain practical skills in preparing, cooking, and serving a range of Asian dishes, including popular family favourites from Indian, Thai, and Chinese cuisines.
Please note, all students must wear fully covered, flat-soled shoes (no heels), tie back long hair, and wear a hat or cap along with an apron. All jewellery must be removed while working in the kitchen.
What will I learn?
On this course you will learn how to:
- Prepare, cook, and serve dishes that are popular, diverse, and exciting
- Use a range of ingredients to create high-quality finished dishes
- Follow recipes to produce tasty meals
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately

What are the entry requirements?
To enrol, you must be aged 19 or over, have a genuine interest in the subject area, and be ready to actively participate in classroom activities and discussions. You'll also be expected to reflect on your progress each week using an individual learning plan completed at the end of every session.
