What is the course about?
If you are a big fan of Bake Off and are fascinated by all things cake, this fun introductory course is perfect for you!
The course will help you take your first step towards creating a variety of delicious cakes and sponges.

This course is taught by industry specialists, covering the real, up-to-date skills and techniques used in pastry and confectionery.
What will I learn?
Throughout this course you will learn more about the bakery and cake production aspect of the catering and hospitality sector. You will develop your knowledge and be introduced to a range of new skills and techniques. You will also learn about the requirements for progression into the bakery industry or on to another of our accredited or non-accredited courses.
The dishes you will produce include, but are not limited to:
- Genoise sponge
- Victoria sponge
- Roulade sponge

What are the entry requirements?
