What is the course about?
This course is designed and developed for those who have existing hairdressing and extension experience and want to progress their knowledge and skills in hair extension application techniques.
This course will enable you to fit hair extensions using a number of techniques and methods, including LA Weave and Tapes. This masterclass has been designed and developed by industry experts to provide you with cutting-edge knowledge and expertise.
Why should I choose the course?
Hair extensions are a great way to either extend the length of hair and/or add volume to it. Whether they’re for everyday wear, or a special occasion, hair extension techniques are vital to any hairdresser to achieve a range of looks.
The LA Weave and Tape Extension techniques are kind on the hair, minimising damage, and are comfortable to wear. This has led to them being two of the most modern and popular hair extension application techniques that a hair stylist can add to their skillset.
What will I learn?
You will learn:
The L.A. Weave Method - a style of hair extension that uses micro beads, hair wefts and a thread and needle to apply. It is one of the kindest forms of hair extensions available on the market, it is very natural looking and comfortable to wear.
Tape Extensions – Tapes are a type of permanent hair extension consisting of a 4cm wide weft of hair secured at the top with a sticky tab that is attached to the hair. Tape extensions are one of the most popular hair extension methods on the market due to them being so quick and easy to apply.
What will the course lead on to?
This course can aid with career progression and can help business growth by developing on-trend techniques that are in demand. Hair extensions can be offered as a stand-alone service or added to an existing service portfolio. You may also wish to enrol on some of the college’s other hair & beauty courses, such as Balayage, which will support you in being able to offer the latest techniques to your clients.
