Advanced Creative & Digital Skills (ACDS) Centre

The Creative and Digital Industries continue to power the growth of the UK’s workforce, adding posts at twice the rate of the rest of the UK economy.
Every industry requires digital elements from health, engineering, hospitality, to finance and sustainability. The Covid-19 pandemic has radically changed the way that we connect and communicate within our society and has revolutionised the way in which we innovate and collaborate.
Supporting employers with their digital skills needs
The College Business Centre is integral to the success of the ACDS Centre.
We are working closely with our local communities, employers and other stakeholders to help shape the ACDS Centre through a steering group. The steering group will discuss and approve; curriculum design, facilities, resources and crucially, support us with our education and skills training offer over the short, medium and longer term to provide a future-proof pipeline of local talent.
Please do contact us by email if you would like to join our steering group, ACDS@wvr.ac.uk.

We believe in the power of collaboration and innovation
All of our courses have been designed in collaboration with industry experts across the country to align with, and support the short, medium and long-term workforce strategies in the creative and digital sectors and to meet sectoral skills gaps, supplying a local pipeline of talent and reducing the number of hard to fill vacancies.
We work in partnership with a wide range of employers to support the delivery of sought-after skills from VR, AR, UI, UX, animation to video-editing, social media and digital marketing.
