Ready, Set, Grow! Retrain and upskill at Warrington & Vale Royal College this summer

Warrington & Vale Royal College recently released its brand-new Adult Summer Guide, listing all of the courses currently on offer. The guide contains hundreds and hundreds of courses, some of which you may even be able to complete for free if you meet certain eligibility criteria.

From courses taught on-site to online distance learning courses, there’s a mode of study to suit each individual’s needs. With short, non-accredited courses designed to add another string to your bow, to longer accredited courses that will give you a certified qualification; there really is something for everyone. With only six months left of this year, there has never been a better time to try something new!

Centred in the heart of Warrington, the college is an accessible and local provider with great community links. Course tutors are experts in their field and committed to continually developing their practice, and have fostered excellent links with industry and employers.

On top of this, the college is continually investing into its campuses to ensure that facilities are modern and stimulating environments in which students thrive. For example, this year the college opened the doors of its innovative Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Training Centre, and is about to officially launch its new Health & Social Care Academy. The best bit? This doesn’t even scratch the surface of the exciting projects in the college’s pipeline.

If you’re interested but not ready to fully commit to a course, why not try a free taster session? Throughout the month of July, the college are running a series of free sessions to allow prospect students to sample courses and get a feel for the college. To see the list of available sessions, please visit: wvr.ac.uk/free-tasters

Your copy of the Adult Summer Guide will be on its way to your doorstep this month (if you live in Warrington) but you can also view it here: wvr.ac.uk/summer-guide. To take a look at the range of distance learning courses available now, which you may be able to complete for free, please visit: wvr.ac.uk/distance-learning.

For a more personalised experience, visit the college’s Warrington campus on Saturday 3rd September for their adult enrolment fun day. This is a great chance to see the fantastic facilities for yourself, have all your questions answered and enrol on your dream course. Keep an eye on the college’s website for more details! wvr.ac.uk
