Warrington & Vale Royal College are encouraging adults to rediscover themselves this September by returning to the classroom. This year the college has enhanced their adult education offer to include even more part-time and full-time, higher education, professional and leisure courses. So whether you want to change your career, develop your skills or discover a new hobby, there‚ something to suit all interests and levels of ability. New courses for 2019 include Bookkeeping, Life Coaching and Law & Practice, ranging from introductory courses to diplomas. Former Media Make-up student Rayner Cunniffe, who lives in Warrington and features on the college‚ new adult course guide amongst a host of other inspiring adult students, is now employed a Media Make-up lecturer at the college. She said: After I had my daughter I knew I had to find a career that was flexible and could support us. Applying make-up came naturally to me and I picked it up easily. Winsford student Nicola Kavanagh is studying HNC Applied Arts and aspires to become an independent maker in ceramics. Nicola said: It has been a long time since I last studied, but coming to the friendly Winsford campus doesn‚Äôt feel daunting. The teachers give you lots of support. The collegeis also encouraging adults to consider apprenticeships, which are often falsely identified as only available for 16 ‚Äì 18 year olds. What are you waiting for?
