Course: T Level Health (Adult Nursing)
School:
Beamont Collegiate Academy

As an aspiring nurse, Emily chose to switch to a T Level after spending a year at an alternative college studying A Levels and deciding that it wasn't the right pathway for her. Although very academic, she has always enjoyed hands-on and practical learning, and was particularly drawn to the industry experience she could gain on a T Level programme.

Outside of the college's simulation hospital ward, Emily has enjoyed completing exciting placements with two organisations - JUMP Children's Charity and Warrington Youth Zone - which have given her the chance to put theory into practice in the real world.

Course: T Level Onsite Construction (Carpentry & Joinery)
School:
Cardinal Newman Catholic High School

Having secured an ongoing industry placement with one of Warrington's top builders, Urban Building Projects, Alfie feels that the skills and experience he is developing in the construction sector goes hand-in-hand with his academic and practical learning in college. He says: "My course is interesting, challenging and fully preparing me for my career."
