Lecturer in Games

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Warrington & Vale Royal College for a dedicated, and specialist 0.6 FTE Lecturer to teach Games. We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and professional individual who can teach BTEC L3 Games. You will guide students to achieve excellent results through a variety of teaching and learning strategies. The successful candidate should have an up to date knowledge of the changes to the BTEC vocational education.

Your skills will be broad and should include practical techniques in 3D modelling, 3D sculpting, and level design, with a knowledge and skill in using Games Engines, and a current understanding of the Games Industry and experience in using 3DS Maya, Unreal Engine, Unity and Adobe Creative Suite.

You will be educated to Degree level in Games Design or a related subject and have a high degree of industry practice. You will ideally have a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
