Employer Engagement Officer
To identify, develop and maximise relationships with employers to recruit apprentices and maximise other cross college income opportunities, including full cost recovery and funded/co-funded training in addition to work experience opportunities. The role of Employment Engagement Officer is to engage with employers and curriculum to ensure Apprenticeship/WEX targets are met and high-quality recruitment is maintained at all times.
You will be responsible for making appointments with employers to discuss their workforce training requirements, upskilling of the workforce and liaising with the Employer Engagement Manager and Head of Business Development and Recruitment to identify suitable opportunities and plan delivery with the employers.

Suitable candidates will have a Level 3 qualification and five GCSEs, grade 4 or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English. In addition, candidates should have an understanding of work placement study programme requirements and emerging work placement government priorities, experience of completing risk assessments/Health & Safety assessments, and a sound understanding of the relevant qualification’s frameworks and of a range of appropriate qualifications that are available to learners
