Your course will be filled with opportunities to learn from the best, including chefs who have cooked for the Queen! We work with one of the best chefs in the country, Gary Usher from Elite Bistros, along with Michelin-star chef, Aiden Byrne, famous for restaurants such as The Church Green and Manchester Kitchen.
- Work placement
In addition to working weekly services at our on-site Restaurant, Buckley’s, you will complete a minimum 60 hours work experience per year of the course. This has helped approximately 95% of our students to secure part-time jobs following their work placements.
- Trips and visits
Every year, students on this course take a trip to an international destination as well as trips to regional leading restaurants. Previous trips have included Crete, Malta, Barcelona, and the Netherlands, where students have explored exotic restaurants, worked with international chefs, artisan producers and suppliers.
