Hospitality and Culinary Arts

Are you a budding chef, or even an aspiring hotel manager? Our hospitality & culinary arts courses will give you the skills you need to pursue a career in the industry.

You will learn from tutors who have real industry experience, with many having worked in Michelin-star and AA Rosette restaurants. Our in-house kitchen and award-winning restaurant, Buckley’s, is where you will begin your culinary journey, creating and serving dishes for our happy customers.

    Your course will be filled with opportunities to learn from the best, including chefs who have cooked for the Queen! We work with one of the best chefs in the country, Gary Usher from Elite Bistros, along with Michelin-star chef, Aiden Byrne, famous for restaurants such as The Church Green and Manchester Kitchen.
  • Work placement
    In addition to working weekly services at our on-site Restaurant, Buckley’s, you will complete a minimum 60 hours work experience per year of the course. This has helped approximately 95% of our students to secure part-time jobs following their work placements.
  • Trips and visits
    Every year, students on this course take a trip to an international destination as well as trips to regional leading restaurants. Previous trips have included Crete, Malta, Barcelona, and the Netherlands, where students have explored exotic restaurants, worked with international chefs, artisan producers and suppliers.
  • Facilities
    Our in-house restaurant Buckley’s is the perfect place to begin your career in the culinary arts! Working with the latest equipment and gadgets, you will learn technical skills to use throughout your career.
