The industry has a vast skill shortage and there are a huge variety of jobs available for those interested in this industry. Meet current student Russell LomaxRussell Lomax was determined to embark upon a practical, hands-on career. Russell enrolled on to the Mechanical Engineering Level 2 course, and loves the variety that this offers, involving different forms of engineering such as hand-fitting, mechanical and electrical engineering.

After experiencing trips out to employers, using industry standard equipment and learning from his experienced tutors, he feels more employable than ever and knows his chances of securing a job are high.
