Creative and Digital Media

Our innovative Creative & Digital Media courses are aimed at students who wish to pursue a career within the fast-paced digital media industry. 

These courses deliver a specialist curriculum allowing students to develop specific practical skills alongside learning about the digital media industry and professional practice. As part of these creative and dynamic courses you will complete live project briefs, experimenting with a wide range of roles and exploring interactive and digital media production techniques.

    As part of your learning experience you will work on a variety of live projects, carrying out projects such as editing social media footage for local businesses. You will also have the opportunity to compete in national film competitions to broaden your work experience.
  • Work placement
    Gaining valuable work experience and having the opportunity to work with real clients will enhance your learning and skills in the sector. You may work on wedding photography and videography, or perhaps record footage for local schools and businesses, and even work with local football clubs on their digital media communications.
  • Trips and visits
    You will have the opportunity to take part in various trips across the year, including visits to the Bradford Media Museum, Warner Bros Studio tour and a residential trip to Stratford-upon-Avon.
  • Facilities
    We have state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, including: a green screen studio, DSLR cameras, and Mac suites featuring industry standard software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, all of which contribute to a first-rate learning experience.

Meet our students

Meet current student Georgia TolfreeGeorgia Tolfree has gained a wealth of knowledge and skills on her Creative Media Production Level 3 course. She plans to study Language, Culture & Film and TESOL at the University of Leeds or York St. John University. Her future aspiration is to teach English and Film Studies abroad in countries such as Japan and South Korea.
