Our graphic design and photography courses are specifically designed to develop the skills you need for a career in graphic design or photography. You will be provided with the entry requirements you need to progress on to university to study graphics, photography, illustration, games or visual arts.

We have developed these exciting programmes of study with consideration to the current industry trends and expectations of what universities and employers are looking for in future creatives. You will find yourself learning a combination of skills to develop your visual communication skills.

You will have access to our professional photography equipment including the use of an industry standard photography studio and apple mac computers so you’ll get hands on experience from the beginning.

Our creative & digital department benefit from strong connections with the industry so you will find yourself working on live projects, both national and local including developing brands for business, creating promotional materials and making inspirational art for competitions. This instantly gives you an edge when you look for work or apply for university after completing the course!

Student Success

Lydia Crawshaw has successfully completed her Level 3 course and will be progressing onto the college’s HNC in Graphic Design. Lydia has enjoyed developing her skills through projects she has completed. Lydia said: “I am able to work in different parts of graphic design, which helped me in learning what my strongest area is.”

Lydia says the tutors on the course are ‘amazing’ and have supported her throughout college, offering regular feedback on her work and giving constructive advice. She says: “The course has given me plenty of opportunities, including work experience and building my confidence for the future.”
