Students enjoyed having a go at Boogie Bounce, sampling the delights of Chicago Town Pizza and Urbaneat, taking the coffee cup challenge and the braver ones testing their fitness at the college sports stand.

The Student Union team was kept busy signing students up to the college clubs, societies and sports activities including the fantastic sports, gym and dance opportunities at the fantastic new ‘state of the art’ facilities at Orford Jubilee Park.

Organiser, Jordan Layfield, College Sports Maker, at Warrington Collegiate explains “I’m delighted that a record number of NUS cards were sold this year, which demonstrates a real interest in the College Student Union and its activities. It always a great day seeing the students enjoying having fun as well as signing up for the events and activities we offer to students at Warrington Collegiate. Always popular is the annual trip to New York to discover the bright lights of the Big Apple. The Freshers  Fayre is just one of a bundle of events taking place at the college this week to welcome new students.”

Students can find out more about the exciting range of vocational courses, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and higher education at the Open Evening and skills Show on Monday 12th October, 5-7.30pm
