Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a full time Learner Support Manager to manage Learner Support across the College, ensuring that each learner’s specific needs are met. The successful candidate will be required to be the College Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCo).

Suitable candidates should have 5 GCSEs, grade A* to C or equivalent, including Maths and English, and be educated to degree level or equivalent. Candidates should have a Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties and/or Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Inclusive Education and SEND.  It is desirable that candidates should have a teaching qualification.

Candidates must have knowledge and experience of supporting young people and adults in FE and HE, with special educational needs and disabilities, have a good working knowledge of SEND and a sound knowledge of ALS funding.
