Success for aspiring midwives - Access to HE

Eight adult students enrolled on Warrington & Vale Royal College‚ Access to HE ‚Äì Health Professionals course have received offers to study midwifery at a variety of universities including Edge Hill University, Staffordshire University, UCLAN, the University of Chester and the University of Salford. What‚ more, all of the student‚ studying the Access to HE ‚Äì Health Professionals course were invited to interview at their top choice university. Student Aimee Molland has been offered a place to study midwifery at her top choice university, Edge Hill. Aimee, who resides in St Helens, enrolled at Warrington & Vale Royal College after attending a college open evening. Aimee said: The Access to HE course is intense but I‚Äôm really enjoying it. I was so proud of myself when I received an offer from Edge Hill and can‚Äôt wait to start in September. Christopher Geal, Senior Practitioner in Access Studies, said: Entry to study midwifery is very competitive so it‚ a fantastic achievement for our students and the college‚ Access to HE provision.
