As part of your course you will explore exhibitions at places such as the International Slavery Museum and the Thackray Medical Museum, as well as visiting local universities. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in some fantastic projects abroad. Past students have enjoyed trips to Martos in Spain to take part in a rewarding challenge of caring for people with limited English.
Our career-focused courses involve lots of work placements to give you valuable industry experience. We have strong connections with local employers, including hospitals, primary schools and care homes, so you get a real insight into the working world. With placements at locations such as Warrington & Halton NHS Trust, St. Rocco’s Hospice and Catalyst Choices, you get every opportunity to develop excellent practical skills. Throughout your course you will also meet leading professionals from the industry, who come into college to provide advice and inspiration for your future career.
