    Progress 8 Qualifications

These discrete courses give pupils the opportunity to add a vocational element to their learning programme outside of school and develop employability skills, vocational knowledge and skills whilst achieving nationally recognised qualifications that count towards KS4 Progress 8 measures. Courses and qualifications are available in the curriculum areas listed above and delivered by specialist tutors with industry experience.

    Year 11 Infill Programme

We offer a limited number of placements for students in Year 11 looking for a fresh start and a different approach to learning, often the opportunity to undertake a vocational learning programme can reengage pupils back into education. Students on these programmes infill into our full-time, post-16 provision and gain vocational knowledge, understanding and skills and work towards nationally recognised qualifications (if appropriate), at level 1 or 2 and gain a range of employability skills.

If required, these placements may include English and maths at either Functional Skill or GCSE level depending on a student’s prior learning and knowledge.

      14 16 Students

Our 14-16 Schools Programme is suitable for pupils with or without SEN who are either working below or towards level 1 to develop their practical skills and help with students’ transition to college.

Our Year 11 infill courses are ideal for pupils who are unsure of what they would like to do and would benefit from trying several vocational areas.

      Pathways include:
        • Construction Skills
        • Graphics & Media
        • Hair, Beauty & Media Makeup
        • Health & Social Care
        • Hospitality and Catering
